Title: weather in early May

Hi whoever is out there. we visited kalkan last year ....loved it and are returning in May this year. Since I think we will be regularly coming back to this fab place I thought I should register and become part of the community!  :angel:

question  - what is the weather like now - we are due out in the second week in May ?? I am hoping all i need is my bikini but I think I may be a little optimisitic?

 hi p.o.d. I am in kalkan three wks today,I have just had a look at one of the weather sites and for the next 15 days the temp ranges from hi 60s thru to low 80s with plenty of sun  8) ;Dso it looks like we should be o.k.

This morning started with quite torrential downpours (much needed so welcomed by all of us who live here) and low temperatures. 12 degrees at 10 a.m.  Throughout the day, the weather has been cool and cloudy. The next three days are forecast to be similar, then it becomes much more settled and a lot warmer.

To check the Kalkan weather go to accuweather.com. It is amazingly accurate and gives a forecast which has not yet failed

The weather in may is normally great. We live here all year, and on friday 25/4/08 our thermometer on our balcony registered
26 degrees (this is in the shade). Yes we had a little rain today 28/4/08, but this was over night mostly, the daytime was warm
and sunny.  If you are over in may you will be amazed how warm it can be (be sure to bring loads of suncream). Hope you
enjoy your hols. 8)

Hi  Kevincat99,

Yes I do live here.  Yesterday we walked around the harbour, stopped off for a couple of beers
on the way home, the sun was shining and I thought it was really warm.  (Any excuse for an efes).
