Some of you may remember we had to cancel last October’s trip due to me being diagnosed with cancer. On the 14th June I was given the glorious news that I was cancer free, just as well as we were booked to go & stay with friends in Spain the next afternoon. After a week of doing absolutely nothing apart from eating and drinking we got back last night refreshed. Now you might recall I have to wait for the EFL fixtures to come out before I book but I couldn’t find a week in October where I didn’t miss a game so went to late September but couldn’t find a villa with the must have bath tub for Janet so it was back to October. Earlier in the week I found nicely priced BA flights, when I looked this morning they’d gone up a huge amount, didn’t fancy Thomas Cattleclass after reading the horror stories about cancellations & switching dates plus their financial status so have gone with EasyJet who we flew to Spain with. So after an long absence we are coming back and staying in the Lycian City complex we used to stay in when we first discovered Kalkan. Whooppee

Congratulations Pompeyalbie, on getting the all clear, I too had a cancer scare earlier this year, so know what you've gone through. We are looking forward to 4 weeks in Kalkan in September, roll on the good times.
