I hear Martin Lewis announced the Easyjet release date again yesterday, so bye bye cheap flights. Money saving my *****!!!!

If Luton is your nearest airport, then you have absolutely no choice.
No-one else flies to Dalaman from there now - sigh, how I miss Monarch!
Incidentally, a TC flight from Birmingham next September has already filled up and been removed from the booking site! Must be one hell of a large hen party!
-
Jesus on a bike!! shows how desperate flights are to be missing Monarch! ::)
-
I'd be more worried if someone said they missed RyanAir!
(I look forward to the day when that may be possible)
-
I looked at Easyjet flights for May half term as soon as they came out - £850 to £1,000 for two flights before baggage!!
This is ridiculous I just don't understand why flights to Turkey are so expensive compared to anywhere else in the world!
We have been going to Kalkan for 15 years and this is the most flights have ever been.
Ended up booking a package at the Regency for less than flights, apartment and transfer would cost booking separately. I can't see any flights for less £1k for May half term - roll on retirement!
-
They're expensive this year because Monarch has gone, hence less choice.
More seats and less passengers, airlines compete on price, vice versa and they jack them up.
Easily solved if Pegasus and/or Turkish would offer more choices from the UK instead of only going to Istanbul. They're missing a big opportunity.

We have paid £750 for two flghts from Leeds/Bradford, in September 2019, considerable less than we paid this year with TUi. We too miss Monarch, never had a delay or any problems with them, sadly the less competition the higher prices will rise. Totally agree with previous comments regarding Turkish Airways. Digitum extractum!!!

I paid £540 for 2 flights out 25/9 and back 15/10. Including bags but not seats. This is Jet2.com and includes 10% disc currently being offered. We deliberately went for the cheapest flights available but I thought this was a good price.
