Title: Kekova Boat trip from Kas
Post by: kazilla on August 14, 2018, 04:55:27 PM: I am struggling to find a boat that will do a private charter from Kas to the sunken city of Kekova. There will be 10/12 adults in September looking for a day trip. Captain Ali Garlic has quoted 650 euros but I have nothing to compare this with. We will naturally have to arrange separate transfers to Kas and the trip is also weather permitting. Any experience of this trip or advice please would be greatly appreciated.

Post by: Lizilu20 on August 20, 2018, 03:10:05 PM: Hi Kazilla, why don't you try one of the tour companies, eg volume travel, Alper Bektas at what used to be EGE rentals (he's now running a tour agency), define etc. Just give them the dates and how many people and they will also arrange your transfers.

Suat or Emin at Kalkan Sun Travel will be able to arrange this. For
a non private tour they charge £20 per person and that includes the transport to Kekova, breakfast, lunch & the boat. I'm sure they can negotiate a private tour although it will probably cost more per person, dependent on the capacity of the boat. Email them at info@kalkansuntravel.net and ask for a quote. Post by: kalkan4eva on August 22, 2018, 07:35:47 PM: There is a Friends of Kas Facebook page, might be an idea to ask on there if you are looking to sail from Kas to Kekova rather than travel from Kalkan to Üçağız by road then get on a boat here to Kekova/Simena. I think from your question you want to sail from Kas...? Also look at Trip Advisor and see if you can see reviews/contacts for more quotes.

I have been looking at the facebook page for friends of Kalkan but information has been limited. Fingers crossed that Askin can provide some further information.
