Title: ban on buying turkish property

 :o So whats the outcome going to be regarding the ban on foriegn nationals buying property in turkey.
It sure wont help the turkish economy :-)
any views on this subject

It''s not a ban, there is a change in  legislation when this happens all proceedings are suspended until the new legislation is in place will not effeect many as tapu''s never come ontime any way

I read something in the turkish press about this today. The law has now been passed by the turkish government , so transfers of tapus should be able to start up again with the next few weeks.
