Title: Prepaying for car hire and transfers

We’ve used Enes Transport/Rentacar since 2004, and have always found them very reliable. We dealt with Emin, who has apparently left. They offer excellent Dalaman-Kalkan transfer and car hire rates if you prepay. Because the tourism economy is so volatile at the moment, we are nervous about prepaying for our trip in June. What does anyone else think?

Emin is now at kalkansuntravel.net. You are correct he has left Enes and is running a new business with a partner. Still the same great service.

We use Adda tours and always prepay. Can't really see it being a problem. Have probably prepaid for the last 5 years or thereabouts.

I have never prepaid, only pay after we arrive in Kalkan. We use Brave Tours, fantastic service.

emins2017@gmail.com is Emin's email if you want to book with him. He is the person that has given us such good service for many years so we have moved to his new company. You only pay as always when you get there.

We have never pre paid for transfers also been with several different companys over the years and usually pop money into office while in Kalkan...current man we have to remind him we would like to pay!!

I've never known any other place in the world where the transfer companies expect you just to pop into their office to pay sometime in your holiday. Likewise when we rent a car there's no credit card info taken when we pick it up at the airport, we're just expected to pay at some point in the stay nor is there the forensic search for any damage at pick up or return. Again it's this sort of approach that makes people want to return over and over.

We've also chosen to move our business to Emin's new venture. We've used Enes for years and really noticed when he wasn't there  for that couple of years so are happy to move with him to Kalkan Sun. Also, they are starting up a airport shuttle service which will be great for single travellers in particular - think it works out at £29 return.
