The villa booking market is looking surprisingly lively for 2018.
We already have 4 weeks booked for next year, the most we have ever had at this point in the season (compared to nothing last year). Hopefully this is representative and Kalkan will have a much better season next year.
How are others bookings going for next year.

From a serial renters point of view...The doubt over registration and the implications of cost /companys/red tape etc had a big effect this year as well as the threat of terrorism and bad press towards Turkey from the UK ..Some owners seem to have held prices or reduced slightly for next year .The next kick in the teeth for the tourist industry is the ridiculous price increases for a flight to a Turkish airport!

I agree BL - I have just been looking at flight prices from BHX for next July and we are looking at £270 with hand luggage only. I expect it will end up at £350 to have luggage and extra legroom.

easyJet flights are very reasonable and good times from Manchester...only released until the end of June 2018 at the moment - they will clean up
-
Here's hoping other flight companies will pick up on people waiting for easyjet flights and bring their prices down accordingly!

Unfortunately the EasyJet prices are going up fast, the cost of our Easter flight out has gone from £77 to £155 in the last two hours.
From looking at the seat booking page it seems that there is only around 6 lowest price seats on each flight.

We have 11 weeks booked for next year and what is encouraging is three of the bookings are new to Turkey. It is a long time since we had this many weeks booked a year in advance and surprisingly all had already booked flights. The three new bookings are all school holidays as well.

Definitely up on the last two years. Almost back to 2014 advance enquiry levels in the apartments.
Most encouraging is the fact that we are getting bookings again from previous "regulars" who have given Kalkan a break for the last couple of years but are now coming back next year :)
