My e-visa runs out on 5th October. I'm coming to Kalkan on 20th September but return flight is 12th October. Just realised that I can't renew the visa until the current one expires. Rather than come home early (at vast easyjet expense) can I go over to Meis on 5th October overnight and renew it on line from there? The issue is with the 180 day expiry rather than the 90 day rule. ......just found the answer. It's only the 90 day in 180 rule that matters. You can buy a new visa at any time (but max 2 per year) so long as you have enough of the 90 days left! phew!

Its a countback system (not 90 days in that visas 180 days). On any one day count back 180 days and as long as you haven't been in Turkey for 90 days you're ok.
