Title: ASAT direct debit question

We pay our electricity by direct Debit and would like to pay the water bills. We used to have a direct debit with the council before ASAT took over and the direct debit was not transferred across to ASAT.   WE have signed up with the new ASAT contract and have our new meter number

I have a bank account =   Zirat   and was wondering if it is as simply as   taking a water bill to the bank and asking  then to set up a direct debit , which I presume I would have to fill ou6t a form  ,  or   is it more complex than that ?.

Simple - just go into the bank with your new meter number and sign the form to set up the D/D! :)
