Title: Access to my On-Line Banking with Deniz
Post by: paul.harrison on July 27, 2017, 06:00:28 PM
Hi all, I have a dilemma, in order for me to gain access to my on-line account I usually receive a one-time code via my mobile to type in on log-in. My issue is that the mobile the code gets sent to is no longer in service (long story) so I really want to go into the account to change the mobile number in 'my details'. But, I can't because it sends a code to my previous mobile phone. Vicious circle!!

So, any clues please, Hatice at Deniz has said come into the branch but I am in the UK for some time yet?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

you can try to call denizbank callcenter and authorize with card.  For example, withdraw some amound from your card in atm and tell operator how much it was.

Hatice in Denizbank always helpless in any question. Try to reach Osman or main callcenter.

Will the bank accept a signed letter from you changing the mobile number? I can remember doing something similar with Isbank, I wrote out a letter and scanned and emailed it to the branch. They can then check your signature.

Osman is always a very helpful man and speaks good English too.
Email him explaining your situation and ask him what you can do.

I had this problem when I retired and had to give back the company mobile telephone that I used all the time. I even communicated with Denizbank in advance of the event. Neither Hatice, Osman, nor the then branch manager could help! No fax to branch or callcentre either...
Had to go into the branch when we were in Kalkan 18 months later because that year was the only time we missed our yearly trip.
Only then the problem could be resolved, by SMS to my new number initiated by Osman on his computer after seeing us eye-to-eye. Apparently the rules haven't changed.
