I'm thinking of booking this boat trip for our forthcoming visit. Its around £50 each for the day, includes some drinks but I quite fancy a different type of boat day and apparently they visit Kaputas and other bays that the usual boats don't? Has anyone been on it and is there any feedback - I don't mind paying the extra cost if we get to experience a different type of day.

Well at more than twice the normal price....I cannot believe you will get twice the better boat trip! If you ask any of the 'normal' boats - they will take you to Kaputas and other lovely stopping places near Adem's restaurant in the Kas direction - the reason they dont is that it is a lot rougher seas going round the Kisla headland and many people get seasick...and of course it uses more diesel...but they will go if you ask!!

Poseidon looks a fab boat , also as it is such a big boat it will cope much better than the small boats going round the kisla headland

Cant comment on the Poseidon boat although I understand its £55 each this year. We were out on Yildiz2 today and went to Kaputas and surrounding bays only...first time out that way for us. Including all our drinks today, it came to £70 for both of us...that was several Efes, Lal and water plus ice creams. Could not fault this!
