We have just decided to visit kalkan again this July (it will be our 6th visit) on a bit of the spur of the moment basis. To my surprise I found the flights very cheap - £90 each flying out from Cardiff and 60 euros to return to Bristol! Woo hoo ;D I don't know why but I expected them to be quite expensive.

Trying to predict air fares is a black art akin to chicken bones and roulette!
For example Luton-Dalaman in June and September has a low of about £64 outbound and about £250 inbound.
And that's just the ones I looked at, before the extras!
I think the main factor is "How low (price-wise, that is) do we have to go to shift these seats?".
On the other hand Monarch are cheap when they go on sale, and tend to go up until the New Year.
But not always!
My head hurts!!! ??? ???

Wow Allison's that's brilliant. More spending money when you get here. ;)
What a lovely u unexpected surprise. We did well this Easter and summer but were lucky as we got the flights just as easy jet released them. A first for us. :)

Having already organised our usual visits in June and September I've booked a cheeky wee extra week on 20th May. £130 return from Glasgow. Would have been rude not to ;D
