Does anyone in Kalkan know if the TEB bank is still dispensing sterling at its ATM? We used it last year with our English HSBC debit card to draw out sterling and it was free. Very useful since the HSBC ATM disappeared and as we are due out at the end of March I am just checking options for getting cash.

Amber is correct, in saying it does, or did last summer. We have been here since 5th Jan and not one, we have tried all the ATM's, has given us GBP's so far this winter 😤

I have been using TEB all winter for sterling and know others that have too - we must have withdrawn it all OneLove!

How strange Amber, we have tried it many times and never managed to withdraw any GBP's.
Maybe I should put some money into our account then see what happens !

We used TEB early season last year in May & was ok to withdraw sterling using a Nationwide card (without charge), but then they changed the machine & we tried many times in Sept/October & we couldn't get any GBP. We also noticed it no lager displayed a GNP sign. We ended up using ISbank (no charge) as Garanti bank ATM also stopped dispensing Sterling.

Many thanks for your replies, we used TEB to withdraw sterling last November and it worked well so was hoping it would still be dispensing sterling. We also tried a Revolut card in shops, for the first time and that gave an excellent exchange rate - have to load the card with cash.

We have used ISBANK ATM several times this winter for GBP, it is always well stocked, some of the others are never stocked with sufficient funds

I made a sterling withdrawel from TEB a couple of days ago and can confirm no charges from HSBC.
