Visited for first time in a while yesterday. What a beautiful little resort now. Feels more exclusive to me than Kalkan is now. Kas Belediye should learn from Fethiye who manage Gocek. It is clean, quiet (good traffic and dog control), has much better choice of shops and cheaper to eat (at least 20tl cheaper for a steak meal). Overall it feels to me like Kalkan should be. A longer stay may prove otherwise so will need to give that a go.

Couldn't agree more, we love it there & as mentioned much cheaper to eat which is surprising bearing in mind the marina & it's mega yatchs moored there. We were there a couple of weeks ago, it's so relaxing.

Gocek is a good place to visit, but Kalkan is a perfect place to live.
Villas in Gocek have no sea view, moskitos like piranias and locals give a less attention for tourists.

Agree with satovod,
We like it there, been many times just for a change/something to do, also stayed there a couple of times for a night. But compared to Kalkan, not a chance.
