Hi All
Just got back from yet another fab holiday in Kalkan we had a lovely time as ever. Catching up with dear friends and just being back there was wonderful.
We took some friends who had never been and they fell in love with it too, they loved the markets with all the fresh fruit & veg all different shapes and sizes. Not like the rubbish you get in our supermarkets.
The weather was perfect, although a Little windy and chilly on a couple nights. Had to abandon the bar at the likya on one occasion !
Spent a few days at the Yalia beach club which was lover as ever, sea was very refreshing after baking in the sun for a few hours.
Had some lovely meals out my favourite is still the likya for ambience food & service.
Salonika is also one of my faves great food and love the live music !
Black & Gold cocktails are lovely this year they do a really good Porn Star martini and I'm some what of an expert on them after extensive market research.
Fener opened on our last day which was a shame as I love sitting there watching the world go by ..
Sad that Johnnie's bar on the Kalamar rd appears not to be opening this year used to be nice to sit there late afternoon.
Its been said already but yes its very quiet at the moment hopefully it will pick up. I will defiantly be back and so will my Friends already checking flights..
