Ditto Pattaya - we are flying from Gatwick on 23 Dec, we have encountered this before with TC - just tell them at the desk when you arrive, should be fine.  Happy Christmas!

Hi
Thank you Irene at least I know its not just me.
Spent nearly 90 mins on hold to TC this morning .. still could not get through as they are updating their systems and no alterations can be done for 8 DAYS  .. I did also do an online chat and they told me API is not needed for turkey, which I find odd as I've always done so in the past... aAso noticed they have me as Mr instead of Mrs !
nothing I can do until next week .. frustrating.
why would they choose the busiest time of the year to do such an massive update to systems.
Merry Christmas to you too  :) x

As usual, TC, who couldn't do the proverbial in a brewery, are probably wrong.

See:
http://tinyurl.com/n9g76bt (http://tinyurl.com/n9g76bt)

which, if you follow the link suggests that the Immigration Act para 27B requires it, as does the e-borders scheme (which I couldn't be bothered to read).

What's the point of controlling the border if TC doesn't tell anyone who's leaving (potentially en-route to Syria?).

But then again, in terms of customers, TC is vying with Ryanair for Customer Relations credibility (I speak from experience).
