Thanks BL, we have it on record but have missed the first couple of episodes when he was in Italy.  We saw the one in Greece the other evening, and it was fab!

I managed to watch this episode tonight, really good. I loved the  look of the sardines, nver managed to have them in Kalkan. Another dish I did intend having this year and  never did was fish stew. Maybe if I can get  ou there next year must put it on the list.

İt was an excellent episode in what has been a really absorbing series. İ really like the format with the travelogue interspersed with cooking in that beautiful kitchen in Symi. He really seemed to capture the essence and exoticism of İstanbul. Would recommend it.

Totally agree....Never really watched much of Rick before but he comes across as a really nice down to earth man...enthusiastic and passionate about what he does...I loved this series and thought it was beautifully  filmed and not pretentious like some cookery progs .I liked the way he cooked and ate what normal people of those countries would eat and not "Posh poncey" food as so often seen, you could almost smell those spices................Well done Rick!! ;)
