What can I say........we have double checked our travel documents, contacted the Villa owner, confirmed airport transfers and gone through our 'final final' list. We have never been this organised and don't have anything else to buy.........or do we? Tracey was showing me new dresses today even though we have already agreed that we have everything we need. I guess that our wives and partners can always find a reason to buy? We really can't wait for the next two weeks to pass.

Those two weeks will fly past Keith. We have been back 6 weeks and just a distant memory :'(
I am sure you will have a good time and I envy you. wish it was me!

Take it from me Keith, us ladies always seem to have to do that last minute panic buy. It's as much a part of the holiday as booking your flights ;D Besides, there is always a chance that that suitcase full of clothes won't be enough so best to buy a few extra items just to be on the safe side. >:D

We have 12 days left and they will fly by so you will be here before you know it.

Not long now Keith, isn't it funny how we count down the months, weeks and days and even hours in my case until our holidays, but when we are here, sadly we are doing the same count down until we go home >:(. We go home 3 weeks today, but I know it will fly by so quickly.

OMG Jayne - that means we go home 3 weeks today too and we haven't even got there yet :'(

And that means that in four weeks today we'll be back at home. Perhaps I'll try to slow the next couple of weeks down and freeze time when we're in Kalkan. We've been counting down for the past 10 weeks and shouldn't really be wishing our lives away but........it's so easy to do when Kalkan is calling.

keith...counting down for 10 weeks is perfectly acceptable, considering I've been counting down since we booked for next year...306 days to go ::)

I'm not sure I'm going to start counting yet.....we have booked for October 2016!! :laugh:

I have five weeks to go so am definitely counting. Also, as usual, making a list of the restaurants to visit. It never works out like that as once there and relaxing a ready cooked hot chicken and a bottle of wine at home after a dip in the pool seems like a good option. When we first visited Kalkan and stayed in hotels then all meals and drinks were in restaurants/bars and so far more places were fitted into the holidays.

:) 6 weeks to go for us, love the anticipation and the many lists required - just to ensure my OH doesn't forget his swimming kit again or the wash things!
It seems now we need to think not just about what restaurants should we go for, but what bar, Moonlight, Botaknik, The Fountain, Mini Bar or Black and Gold. Should we revisit our favourites or should we try somewhere new - decisions decisions.

Seven weeks today for us until we're back. Spending a few days in Istanbul first. Cannot. Wait.
