Title: Solar Eclipse
Post by: Blue Lizard on March 20, 2015, 03:27:46 PM: Well!!!!.. what a damp squib that was....if I had paid for that eclipse I would have taken it back to the shop!!! all I saw was clouds.... as far as eclipses go it was RUBBISH!! >:(

anyone get a better look?

South London....nish.....100% cloud cover :-((

Tonight we are promised a "Super Moon".....(rude images spring to mind >:D)I might just pop my head out of the window for a look but expect to be underwhelmed ::)

Post by: chickengeorge on March 20, 2015, 11:04:04 PM: I saw the one in Turkey and was on Patara Beach and there wasn't a cloud in sight. Obviously took the right decision not to watch in Kalkan. Was in Cornwall in 1999 but that was just cloudy so probably a similar experience to most people today.
