Can anyone advise of what a girl should pack for Easter in Kalkan? I hear the weather is quite warm, but I''m assuming still chilly at night time.
Ooh sooo excited now! Not been out since October.
many thanks

Hi Linsue - layers are the order of the day..!! When I went in February - the temp got up to 26 degrees on my balcony and I was in strappy top, 3/4 lengths and flip flops (mind you the locals thought I had lost the plot coz they were in jumpers and gilets.. ;D ;D) However - the nights were chilly -although only about down to 10degrees...I would expect it to be warm and sunny during the day - some cloudy days making it slightly cooler and nights a little chillier...if you are a person that feels the cold you might want an extra layer at night - I was fine...!! Certainly be prepared for t-shirts and shorts weather - so a bit of everything and some layers are advisable...as the weather these days is as unpredictable there at this time of year as it is here..!!
Enjoy!!

Oh and I meant to say too - if you do a search on this site - you will find a link to an online weather forecast...I use Accuweather but I know some people have had problems with spam and this site..!!
Cheers!

Me too Joan H! It is at times like this that I revisit (for the hundreth time) going back to the office on Tuesday and implementing the ''6 month exit plan''. We haven''t been out since September 07 and made the choice to have a break in the Red Sea in Feb, instead of going out to Kalkan for Easter. We had a fabulous time and fabulous weather, so no complaints at all, except now that we are back and have had our ''treat'', this all pales into insignificance as we are missing our house desparately now!
So....roll on May, Plan ''A'' may be in place by then. If not, I have a plan ''B'' up my sleeve!! >:D
