Hi has anyone else had problems withe e-visa's?? i have doen everything correctly such as email address etc and still no e-mail sent to me?? gave the contact number a ring but all in turkish any one of you nice help me ?? ???

Did you use this site?    https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/    That is the correct website to use, we used it, and it was very simple and straightforward.

Hi

Should be straightforward process..........Did you use an I phone/pad as apple don't use google and people who use a laptop/google seem to find it works better for them.

This may not apply to you,i realise that,.....just thinking of possible problems that could be causing you the problem.

Did it off my main home computer are you saying try my i-pad?

No, I think Mayday1 was meaning it was better to use a laptop/desktop pc, rather than ipad/iphone, but as you've said that you used your main pc I cannot understand why you are having problems.

Hi Thanks for the replies but I have found out what it was . Bt mail that i use wont let the emails come through even as junk/spam. so used my wifes email address which is with another provider and bingo all done  :) so thats it all done just a few weeks left and Kalkan here we come.

BT Mail uses(d) Yahoo - which is problematic, to say the least - not the best email provider, in my experience!

BT are changing their email system soon, so perhaps this will help!

Just applied and paid for our E-Visas.  Have to say thought it was all very easy used IE to apply then my iPhone to verify and make payment.  Just need to get on that flight a week on Sunday  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I purchased my E-Visa on the 29th April 2014, since then I have had to renew my passport, therefore the passport number on my visa is different to my new passport. As I am not allowed to change any thing on my visa or to purchase another visa, should I take both my old and new passports with me?

I think, from the FAQs at https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/info/ that you will need to get a new e-Visa.

You will not a get a refund on the old one, but there should be no restriction on getting a new one, as the information is different.

Unless someone knows different, that is  ;D
