Hi,
Yes it is open.We were there in early May,and it is business as usual. All the customers were dancing around on the top terrace doing the conga around the tables....very entertaining and food still very good.

Although I didn't eat at Agora this year (I had a disappointing meal last year) I was watching some very enthusiastic birthday celebrations there from a nearby roof terrace in early May. After a lot of laughter, clapping and 'whooping' it seemed to culminate in a man (I don't know if he was a waiter or a customer) jumping up and down on a table without his shirt on. Great if you enjoy raucous goings-on with your meal, but if I was after a nice romantic night out, I may give it a wide berth. I am up for a conga with the best of 'em, but I think there is a time and a place.

I tend to agree with you Christina, I'm perhaps a bit of a Fuddy Duddy, but when I sit down for dinner I prefer a more relaxed, quieter experience, fireworks, loud music and over the top hilarity will turn me off a place every time. Give me subtle lighting and gentle background music every time.

Have to agree with Christina and Headroom.  Will be giving it a wide berth.  Also have to say that I was very disappointed to see a large flashing neon sign at the old Saffron Restaurant now called Moonstone (I think?).  That alone is enough to put me off trying it.  Every year I see changes and unfortunately not for the best :(

We had a very nice meal at Agora last night. We had a bit of a laugh with the waiter and with the couple on the next table, but didn't indulge in any raucous behaviour, and nobody else in the restaurant did either. A very enjoyable evening.
