Hi guys
Can anyone tell me what the weather is like at the moment? We will be coming out at Easter so keeping any eye on weather but never trust the official reports and also any roadwork info as I understand it is chaos. It is the first time I have brought family and told them how beautiful it is and now this happens. Will any restaurants be open for Easter with all this going on?

I arrived over a week ago and the weather has been outstanding, currently sitting outside in shorts and t-shirt >20c (it has been clear blue skys all week but a few clouds today. )
loads of places starting to get ready for opening lots and lots of work being done everywhere, the place is changing on a daily basis.

I've been trying to persuade someone in Kalkan to host a PWS (Personal Weather Station). A decent one costs about £300 and the info could be fed to any web page (like EK or KTLN) and Wunderground as well.
There is no public weather info readily available in the area (Korsan's comes from Rhodes!) - surely there is some business that could capitalise on the tag line "Hosted by ..." on web pages?

I know a few restaurants are already open and some are set to open in the next few days so there will be places to eat - not sure about those restaurants right in the centre of the village where the roads are still up though..? A lot of places do bring the normal 1st May opening forward when Easter is later on in April - I know this happened a couple of years ago - I think it may well depend on access.
Please post whilst you are out there, utah1, let us know how you find things..?

Cheers everyone.
Thank you for your help!
Will definitely post whilst I am there so it is up to date information.
Kind Regards
Gail

Especially as Yesterday's weather is out of date - or should that be 10 minutes ago?

In October weather in Kalkan is amazing. Last October when I was here it was very sunny and warm. I have played tennis (https://oddsdigger.com/tips/tennis) outside with my friends
