Who's coming to Kalkan in 2014 and when are you there?

21st March for 10 days - cant wait! We had to cancel our New Years trip due to ill health - so really looking forward to our trip - even if half the village is dug up, the view is the same!

We are 14th June till 29th June in the lovely villa Sari off the Kalamar rd , and I can't wait ;D ;D

9 sleeps!! 15th March - 1st April first 6 days with mrs Hobbo then jobs (honest!!)
21st June - 6th July holls.

Lizilu20 and I will be in Kalkan on the 5th of April for one week! And 18 days from the 9th August! 8)

8 weeks today, out on 2nd May & back on the 9th, so get those granite blocks laid.

8 weeks today for me too, for two weeks. Planning in my head how to get down to the harbour avoiding the roadworks if necessary.

Huzzah!!!...Myself and Mrs L out on june 11th...along with sausages and bacon(they are not our children they are pork products) ;D

We arrive September 3rd for 14 wonderful days. Staying up the hill this year at the Samira Resort.
We have been going to Kalkan for 14 years, at least once a year, sometimes twice and stayed in many different hotels. Back in 2000 our first visit the cost of living in Kalkan was very cheap. A meal out for four with starters, main, beer and wine was between £20 - £25. A bottle of Gin or Vodka was just over £2!!!!. Happy days then.
It still is a lovely place, a tad more expensive but holds a special place in our mind, body and heart.

Me too on the 2nd May for 10 nights then 26th July for 14 nights,cannot wait!!! I am always wishing my life away counting the sleeps down!!!!

5th April for 16 nights, and 28th July for 4 weeks, and we are seriously counting down now!!!

My first trip is from 1st April to 10th May, and I am chomping at the bit. Crash diet in full swing! ;)

The KTLN Survey says that September is possibly the most popular month - but nobody (as yet) is going then.
Apart from us, that is.

We will be there in our new apartment (well new to us) 1st of April for two weeks then from 6th May to 8th June and again from 14th Sept to 21st October.

Bad choice of words. Shouldn't have said 'nobody'. ;D
What I was really trying to say was the percentages were skewed. Of all the answers, one was 26/9, another 3/9 and a third 'somewhere in the middle'. All the rest (except on for October) were pre August.
Looking at the KTLN results, there was a mismatch - since rectified!!
Which goes to show that if you comment on a statistical anomaly - it sorts itself out to show you up.
Perhaps there will be an EK lunch conference in the middle of September somewhere?

Thanks Charlie. having visited Kalkan many times I know we will enjoy having our own place there. It will certainly be different as we have always stayed at a hotel before!

October 16th for two weeks ,staying at Korsan Penthouse suite,and can't wait. Hopefully all roadworks completed by then. Darcy.
