[/fo Hi all. I made no posts whilst in Kalkan,varying signals etc ,so waited until home.
I travelled with my Son for twelve days ,and returned home last Saturday.
I'm no Antler at holiday reports so please accept my second class report.
Having travelled to Kalkan for twenty years,this year was first return for five years .
Yes,tis. true,there are changes,of course there are ,but the same warmth and charm is there in buckets full.
We stayed at Kulube ,as always. This was maybe out of loyalty , and we enjoyed ,as always the peace and beauty of that special place . ::) However,I am older and I am sure that they have put more steep stairs in since I was last there . !!!!! :) A new venue next time methinks. !
Cafe Vita remains a favourite ,we enjoyed their barbecue evening , and it was great to see them all again..... how do these people remember so many guests ??
Captain Osman and Zeyneb gave us two special days on Yildiz2 .... The first being cold,wet and very windy. With the aid of blankets , wonderful food and great company the day was special.The second day day at sea wonderfully hot and shared with Laura and her special Family ...... baby Joshua keeping me enthralled ,and again,special meals and hospitality.
Koske was a new experience...... we both loved it and will return. Both AliBabas ,Pisces , and Alternatife were enjoyed but still more on the list for next visit.
Wandering to the Harbour and people/boat watching most afternoons ,enjoying meeting up with old Friends ,Eating and drinking too much , and loving every moment of a very special holiday.
Next year ? Booked , so looking forward already . Husband coming next year .... jealous this year I expect. !
Any gripes ? No,not really. Just leaving really , but it will still be there next year .
Korsan Penthouse Suite for two weeks in October . ;D and I cant wait . xx
