Hi
I have been in Kalkan for a few days this week (he he), and the weather was sunny and warm, and the views beautiful. There was little noise and an abundance of Efes.
And just to rub it in a bit more...I got a small suntan while relaxing in a harbour restaurant... ;D

I was hoping the site would remain a supermarket. Bit cheeky with the name by the sound of it. Look forward to trying it our in June when I''m next out there.

No idea of exchange rate in town. M and S before I went was a poor 2.23. like everyone else.
I am out again in 3 weeks, so maybe I can update you then.

Well - I am out at the moment...just enjoyed a bbq on the terrace and 25 degrees sunshine - not much is new....Tesko is just like the old Sevil - just a bit tarted up...the new butcher - Bulent is great (as has already been reported)...Trio was full of turkish last night and me and my turkish friend and Aubergine was equally full - the town is buzzing although obviously much quiet - but it is still a lovely place to be...shame I have to come home in 2 days.... :(
