Hi all.
We will be in Kalkan from 9th until 26th August. If anyone fancies a meet up for a few drinks maybe at moonlight, then please let us know and what date you prefer.

Would be lovely to meet up whilst in Kalkan. Probably too early to commit to a date yet, but hopefully we can keep in touch. If you do agree a date with anyone else then perhaps you could let me know and I will try to make it.
Seem to have spent all day sorting clothes for holiday! I always take far too much so trying to be ruthless, but it's so hard. Have got it down a bit, but reckon I will still need to change four times a day to wear it all! :laugh: Where's Gok Wan when I need him?
Sorry, back on topic.... hopefully we will get to meet up. :) warning.....If we do it early in the holidays we will probably bombard you with questions as we will still be finding our feet!

I've been shopping with our girls today leaving OH at home cleaning the shower out! I've been in boots smelling all the perfumes so that I can narrow it down at duty free. Feeling so excited!!
Keep in touch and I'll keep you up to date with any developments. :)

That's brilliant!!! Have we to sort a date and a venue then? Suzy has mentioned midtown in a pm and I'm happy to go wherever, whenever! Doesn't take much to please me! :)

Sorry, have I jumped the gun here ? I think I just assumed it was an evening meet up.
Apart from Tues 13th day time and Sat 17th evening I should be free, but you know what it's like when you have a the whole extended family to consider!
I am very much the new kid on the block, so happy to let you "veterans"(meant in the nicest possible of ways) pick the most appropriate venue and time. Like Lizzie I will fit in with what ever. :) :)

Flying out at 3.15pm tomorrow.... Mrs Coco and the Cocolettes have already been out there 10 days so I've got some catching up to do... Looking forward to waking up to that view out over Kalamar Bay... 2 and a half weeks of bliss.... love to meet up for an Efes or 10... ::)

Midtown cafe is a good place to organise a meet up.
Ask nicely and we might even put on a special music night for y'all :) :) :)

Well we had a great evening at midtown nice to finally meet you martyn and put a face to a name. Your band was great we really enjoyed the music and also Andy {hobbo's son} was brilliant too.
Looking forward to our meet up at midtown on the 13th.

Well, the music night proper starts at around 21:45, but there's no reason why you couldn't meet up at around seven for a pre-dinner drinkiepoos and then come back after dinner for the shindig. A lot of people tend to come to the music nights after dinner anyway so we often have people turning up after 11...
Anyway, if you want some music for the earlier meet up as well I'll be happy to play a laid back set for you :) Or we can just put some background music on. It's up to you guys ;)

Thanks Martyn, I've spoken to a couple of members who will be attending and the general consensus of opinion is to meet after dinner and enjoy drinks and music at the usual time.
We will be there from about 9.30pm but of course anyone who wants to meet earlier are more than welcome. Very much looking forward to going to midtown and meeting Martyn and other EK members. Should be a fab night. :)

Ok... If you are coming for the music night proper it would be good if you let me know your preferences music wise.
Any specific requests? Bear in mind the limitations of a three piece band, two of whom are Turkish and don't necessarily know a lot of the tunes we all grew up with ;). With that in mind I can't guarantee that every request will be catered for but at least we can try and please some, if not all... :)

We have very wide musical tastes and are happy with most genres, now our girls would love to hear a bit of "one direction" but we would rather not!!! ;D ;D

Martyn we thoroughly enjoyed the evening 2 weeks ago at Midtown so whatever you play am sure everyone will enjoy.
