Hi B&J,

Hardly ever got wifi, so nigh on impossible to post reports :-((

Having a fab time thanks. I don't know who on ek has traveled up the Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast etc.....enough to say its spectacular, albeit, is not (as) cheap (as Kalkan !)

We have driven from Sydney ( that's after watching the Liones win....live, which was amazing )
up the east coast to Brisbane, then kept going north staying in motels in fab small coastal towns, great welcome by all for 4 Poms in a car, ( how comes we are not offended by having a nick name ??? ) they Love us Brits here in Aus.  Last night we stayed in a town called "Town 1770" a bay where Cap Cook anchored in, you guessed it, 1770 !!!

Making our way up to Carins then on to "Cooktown"......then a flight back to Sydney to watch United play the All Stars.......this retirement is ok, only problem is you never get a day off !!!!

G'day, or should I say ( 9 hours ahead ) G'night ;-)))

Only travelled around Western Australia myself, but it sounds like a great tour you're doing.  8)
Better keep this on topic. Have you tried the kangaroo madras yet?  :P

I like the idea of Koala Korma. Sounds kind of exotic, don't you think?
