Well,I'm back from Dalyan,and I said I would do a comparison with prices in Kalkan ........ what a difference !
Beer is from 3.5 - 7 tkl.
wine around 5tk
spirits with mixer around 10 tkl
cocktails from 10 tkl - 15 tkl
food.
Sea bass ( large ) with all the extras ... 10 tkl ( and it was very nice )
Sole fish ( large ) 10 tkl
T bone ( very large ) 30 tkl
Rib eye 25 - 30 tkl
Soup with bread 5 tkl
Clay pot casseroles ( all types ) around 10 tkl
Kebabs ( all types ) 3.5 - 7 tkl
all in all Dalyan is a lot cheaper than Kalkan in my opinion ....
Boat trips ( all day ) around 25 tkl with bbq lunch .
and for some reason not to many street dogs about .
I really enjoyed Dalyan,a bit of a change from Kalkan .... but my heart still lies in Kalkan ;)
Oh,and my 1 bedroom apt,sleeps 4,next to the pool cost me .......... £18 per night :o

Thank you for your post Fidimax, sounds wonderful and we can't wait. We are staying at the Asena for 4 days. The reviews on Trip Advisor are fantastic too! 34 days to go!!! :D 8) 8)

Thank you, really excited about it, especially now you say the boat trips are only 25 TL! Would you recommend any in particular. Also, were there any mozzies around? We are well prepared with Mozzie Wipes!

Not too many mozzies about really,but I did get a couple of bites on my ankles ?
We did a jeep safari,and it was great ,mountains rivers lakes ect,a real good laff,but you do get wet,dusty and catch the sun ... so wear some clothes you are not to botherd about.
The boat trip to the lake and mud baths is good fun,but only if you are prepared to join in and get smelly :)
The Bacardi beach trip and the 12 islands boat trips are also very good ,lots of stops and swimming .
but,just a trip down to the beach on a boat is good fun,if you go to the beach go and see Kaptan June turtle rescue centre it is well worth it,and gives you a break from the sun .

The boat trips might be a little dearer,as ours where planned by the apt owners,just 11 of us on a private booking,but the hotel that you are staying at might do the same thing .

I am sure the Asena have their own boat,so maybe they will plan the trips themselves .... enjoy .
