Will I be able to buy soya milk in any Kalkan supermarkets?
-
Yes at least Migros and Yali sell it
It's not cheap though as it's about 8 / 9 TL a carton

Gosh, it isn't cheap! Thanks for that.

What about Oatley oat milk?
-
Oats [yuluf] yes but oat milk ????
Maybe the new Indian will sell it ;D

I don't ever walk down the Kalamar Road!
-
Why not take a few cartons of long life soya milk in your suitcase, it will be much cheaper than buying it all there. Put it in a plastic box with a sealing lid and it will be safe.

Bazza, the new much-talked about Indian isn't on Kalamar Road ::) I assume your response to KC99 was in relation to his quip about the place...? If not, I don't follow...?

Me neither! I thought that thread had been locked and this thread is about Soya Milk!!!

No Kalkan4ever, it wasn't aimed at anyone. Haven't you heard there are plans afoot to open a double-fronted fine dining Indian specialist restaurant on the Kalamar Road, nothing to do with OneLove's enterprise but obviously an establishment that would be in direct competition, there being no real authentic Indian restaurant in Kalkan presently. In fact, according to my contacts in the Belediye, 2013/14 will see a record number of restaurant openings and applications made than in previous years.
That still doesn't answer my query though which was very definitely related to the Soya milk thread. Where, if anywhere, can I get my Oatley oat milk? I think I may have to go into Fethiye for this as the Turks aren't exactly known for their health consciousness, bless 'em! Still, I'm only ever around for a week or so at a time to attend to my business interests in Kalkan so I suppose my dietary requirements can wait until I get back to blighty!
