Title: Thomas Cook and Onur air
Post by: clara 50 on February 26, 2013, 09:59:25 PM
Hi all!  Thinking of booking for Kalkan again this year. Rather than going for two fortnights we thought we'd go for eighteen nights thereby saving on two flight costs. Our usual villa is available from Aug bank holiday monday and there are suitable return  flights with Thomas Cook but somehow they fly us back with Onur air, not sure if they are part of the same company now although they don't seem to offer the same bundle we always book only on the way out. Just wondering if anyone has had experience flying with Onur as the website is pretty confusing regarding baggage etc on the return flight. Tried phoning but had not much luck. Any advice would be  great. Cheers.

I had my Thomas Cook flight from Stanstead resheduled from Norwich last year with Onur Air.
Thomas Cook have sub-let certain routes to this carrier.
It was OK but no duty free, restricted choice on on-board drinks and the food looked very mediocre!
That said, they get you where you want to go!

Clara, there's quite a bit on here about Onur Air. Try typing it into the search box (or Aegean Flights) and you will be overwhelmed with the information.
