We only got back to Kalkan a couple of days ago after a Fantastic drive from London..blog to follow on KTLN. Wow what a trip ;)
We have had rain, strong winds and sun since we arrived back but Never cold 8)
So, onto the weather today......woke up, or should I say, woken up early this morning by
what seemed like world war 3, mad lightning and what sounded like fighter jets in our bedroom. Anyway by 9 o clock the sun was out and it stayed with us all day with just a sprinkling of cloud. We had lunch at Mussakka in brilliant and proper hot sunshine, it could of even June even Aug it was that hot in the direct sun. Then back to our place for a spot of sunbathing, yeah sunbathing in Feb, what's all that about ??? A few beers in Parc to watch United beat QPR, then back home for dinner....ahhhh it's so good to be back in Paradise 8) ;) 8)

Another day of (90%) sunshine.

Monday......another full day of sunshine, albeit a tad windy.
Lunch at Fener Cafe £20 for 3 of us, great value.
Tuesday morning 07:00 Kalamar Bay bathed in sunshine, let's hope the wind Keeps away.

Tuesday.....well what can I say but Wow...woke up to blue Skies and sunshine and it just got better as the day wore on 8). The wind of yesterday did not turn up today.
A full day of sun and Hot, and i mean HOT. We were on the terrace for a full 6 hours, red faces, note: must buy some sun tan lotion tomorrow :o
Lunch...brought a cooked chicken, salad and fresh bread....14 tl or £5 for 3 of us..ummmhh lovely, all ate on our sunbed, omg how I (we) love it here in paradise 8) 8) 8)
Tonight was spent in Park Kalkan playing the quiz, great turn out, not a seat to spare, who cares who wins, it's all about taking part isn't it !!!!!

Wednesday. 07:30 and brilliant sunshine with clear blue skies here in Kalamar Bay.
A quick power walk into town and back. Breakfast on the terrace, then....who knows, no rules ;)

Thank you for keeping us informed. We know where you are going and we can live vicariously through your postings as they are so descriptive.
Roll on 9 weeks and 2 days and I can be there in person.

Glorious sunny day today just a pity the wind was back and quite strong at times, made it impossible to lay on sunbed so retreated indoors where is was Soooo hot with the sun streaming through the patio doors .....some people are never happy, are they 8) ::) 8)
Night in tonight watching (uk) TV via Slingbox. FA Cup later....come on the 'borough' >:D
Tomorrow is forecast to be.....sun sun sun with no or little wind....fingers crossed ;)

Thursday. Lie in this morning tea and toast in bed looking at the deepest blue Med, like a mill pond, no wind 8) with clear blue skies and brilliant sunshine.....omg, how lucky are we ;) :-* ;)

Very lucky One Love, not envious at all!!!!! Only saying this morning it's Thursday in Kalkan and I would love to be out there, with a trip to the Market followed by lunch at Fener Bar to people watch!

Another glorious sunny morning here in paridise with clear blue cloudless skies, even better that pesky wind has stopped, lets hope it stays away.
Breakfast eaten, terrace swept now time to get a book and decamp to a sunbed 8) ;) 8)
Kalkan is slowly waking up from its winter ( well that's what the locals call it ??? ) sleep with local business's busy clearing away litter, leaves etc ready for the coming season which looks like it will be early this year with Easter falling so early.
