Flew with them a couple of years ago and were fine. Did do me for excess baggage and was certain they were "at it" Gave me the option to pay the same amount in Lira,Pounds or Euros and when pointed out to them that they were entirely different amounts they weren't interested ??? A bit weird ::)
Did contact their customer services on my return but never heard anything back.

Not as weird as the picture of one of their planes on fire on their web site!
Have a look in gallery actual.
Why?

On the subject of airlines I was surprised to read Turkish Air are in the Top 10 most dangerous airlines! I thought they were fine last time we went with them :)

Teke,
The photo of the Freebird A320 '' On fire'' is actually it being welcomed by the fire service giving the airline a glory welcome. The bright yellow light is actually it's anti collision lights.
I'm an Air Traffic Controller and most aircraft on fire produce a lot of black smoke, and not heavy rain. ::)
I have always found Freebird very professional.
