Hi there,
We are very happy repeat visitors to Kalkan, having been in October three times! We are considering visiting this April. How is the weather in April generally? Information on the Web is vague & conflicting. Are all the restaurants etc still open at this time?

Hi jwojwo.
We went to kalkan at Easter last year and are going again this Easter. To be honest we had a mixed week weather wise. Most days there was some sunshine and out of the wind it was very warm, I would say sunbathing weather, however if the grey clouds came, it became nippy. We also experienced some epic storms and rain deluges, mostly overnight.
Regarding restaurants, there were plenty open - not all I'm afraid, and town was extremely quiet. Sitting at the moonlight bar and watching only a handul of people go by was a new experience but we were able to do lots of walking and discovering places we hadn't been before and of course, lots of excuses to stop off at Parc Kalkan, fener, Kaya etc for a tipple and a chat too!!
We must have had a good time as we're coming back for more. It's lovely out of seaon, you should try it. :)

Hi Lizilu - thanks for the weather update. We too are visiting for the first time at Easter, normally we do May and Septmber. My daughter is coming also, so us ladies like to have all the right clothes for any eventuality weather wise! Counting the weeks now. ;)

Thank you - we are so looking forward to it, lets hope the sun will be beaming down! :) Looks like Kalkan suffered a big storm last night hope everyone is ok.
I will look out for you Lizilu, we nearly always talk to people when out and about, so lets hope we do meet :)
