hello everyone, im new on here. looking to book to go to kalkan for the 1st time this year, so any help appreciated. can anyone also tell me if there is pictures of kalkan on here ?

Yes. Click the 'Gallery' tab at the top, then nearer the bottom of the page under 'Gallery Name' click 'Kalkan Gallery'.

Hi Michelle, You will not regret if you book for kalkan just read some of the holiday reports on here and u will get a feel of what a magical place it is and it will be nice to hear of more northerners going to kalkan, and Hobbo has just took the words out of my mouth I was going to suggest you look at a virtual tour - if you google it there a quite a few and also look at the webcams on the other site KTLN. If you do go please post a report on here and let us all know what you think, also if you have any questions there is always loads of people to help you on here.

hello all, well iv looked at the gallery & looked at the virtual view & looked at reviews & all looks good. i def think it seems the place for me. seems the type of place i would def like.

Hi Michelle - You will love Kalkan,people come back year after year.Its laid back,pretty and you can do as much or as little as you like.Lots of wonderful places to eat out to suit all pockets or you can opt for self catering and buy the most wonderful fresh ingredients very easily.Great people live here and great people visit.Once you have the bug you will come back time after time-I am sure!!

Hi Hobbo - good to hear from you! I have been absent for a while for various reasons but hoping to come back in August. Looking for somewhere to stay but no firm dates yet.

thanks everyone, def looking more like we will come in june, think for 10 nights, i love eating out never cook a meal in, use the fridge for drink (beer/wine) & water & the odd bit of chocolate ha ha . it does sound lovely though. i went to icmeler 2 year ago & liked it but kalkan sounds more traditional which is what i want. icmeler as i say was nice but still a bit english for me. i love turkish food & we have a fab turkish resturant in newcastle. mmmmmmm xx
