Last couple of days have been cloudless sky's, wall to wall sunshine and temp hit 32c on our
pool terrace yesterday. Just got up (7 local time) and its going to be the same today 8) 8) 8)

Woken up to a cloudless sky for the second day in Kent.....ok so we had rain in between and yesterday was frosty! >:D

Fantastic day here in kalkan yet again, the boats have been lifted out of the water, quiet & peacful so making the most of it as on the 11th that will change as the builders will begin the winter building projects, some have made a sneaky start in places. Just wish those blooming motor bikes which seem to be the rage here at the moment could make less noise.

Lovely at Fena Cafe today.
A few people,mostly locals and a few cats! So peaceful,just watching the world go by and having a coffee.About half a dozen swimmers and sunbathers on the beach.The crane lfting the boats out.
A perfect winters day in Kalkan!!

So as not to sound too smug, its nearly 8am here in Kalkan & its raining & we have thunder rumbling around but it is so warm, think the rain will be around for a while, not a good day for doing the washing.

I think it would be really helpful to keep this thread running ??? So much better than
the weather sites, lets face it thay can be so far out its pants :o
Not asking anyone to post everyday, just the odd update would be good ???
Next......... Dec, Jan, Feb, March etc in Kalkan...... ???
If I had a £ for everytime I have been asked....whats the weather like in April, May, Oct, Nov ????? Be great to just look back on a thread like this to see what it was like in say .........the last week of May last year ???

23degrees in the shade at the moment. Sunny, blue skies with a few fluffy clouds. Perfect weather.

Blue sky over Kalkan this morning with a few wisps of high cloud, 23c and gorgeous..
Nice to meet with 'shasbas' last night at Vita, they have had a busy time with their purchase, shopping for all those extras that wear out the creditcards.
It's been an interesting trip so far meeting several owners all doing end of season jobs and several of us seem to be waiting for the same workmen I've had a busy time waiting for the kitchen fitters, receiving updates from owners where they were fitting the kitchen before mine, they left last night on a mad dash to Dalaman eating pizza as they drove off, leaving the fitters to finish off the cooker hood.. So this morning bright and early my old kitchen disappeared on the back of a truck, the plan is for the new one to arrive this afternoon and from all accounts it will be interesting to see how similar to the planned kitchen it is, I have the original drawings pinned up on view.

Totally agree this is what i want to see too.. i think they keep in a secrect for fear of us all coming back out for winter !!
Would be nice to hear more about Kalkan out of season weather ect :laugh:

Been VERY windy all day today (not destructive wind though) but largely sunny and still fairly warm - warmer out of the wind! :)

Its dull and grey in Kalkan this morning, it has been raining. Never mind, time to do all the inside jobs that need doing! Temperature 18degrees.

We have blue skies here in south East London, you would think it was a summers day until you step outside. Still better than the misty murky few days we had recently/

Terrible storms but luckily the electric is now back on! Not cold though,its still flipflop weather if you dont mind getting wet feet!

18 degrees in the shade on our balcony at the moment. (11.10am)
