Title: One week to go!

I am heading back to Kalkan a week today - I cannot wait! I'm a bit worried about the weather forecasts at the moment showing rain for while I'm there....I was lead to believe that early October would still be sunbathing weather?!

Is anyone around from 1st October? If so, please look out for me - I'm a 23 year old girl travelling there on my own to meet someone in Kalkan. I have bright red hair so you shouldn't be able to miss me! :)

We have spent several Octobers in Kalkan and the weather has always been lovely - you will get some rain, it does go dark quite early and its a little bit cool of an evening but its a really nice time to be there - not jealous at all...not even a little bit :P

Post by: itstime on September 25, 2012, 05:32:34 PM: We're also here at the moment and yes it is still very hot during the day and lovely and cool in the evening. So much more comfortable than July!

Post by: tortoise lady on September 25, 2012, 06:09:32 PM: Just back late last night and personally didn't find Kalkan too hot. Hot enough to tempt me into the pool though and it has to be pretty warm for that! It was certainly cooler in the evenings but not cold enough to use a pashmina more than once. Didn't need air conditioning at all which made for comfortable sleeping.

Glad to hear that it is a little cooler at night than in July as when I was there this July the heat at night was a little too much!

Weather forecasts have improved as well thankfully! :)
