Trip to Elmali/ Lykia wine tasting/ Aricanda

Volume Travel are experimenting with this different kind of trip and it sounds very interesting.
Departing Kalkan at 09.00am to travel to Elmali, visiting Omer Pasha Mosque and the bazaar, then sampling Elmali's famous meatballs for lunch.
Then on to the Lykia winery for a tour and tasting of several wines.
We will then visit Aricanda an ancient site in beautiful surroundings on our way back to Kalkan.

just a suggestion, do the trip on a monday and vist Elmali market, well worth a visit.

Thanks whiteonyx, we knew about the market, but most people are more interested in the wine tasting and Aricanda.
There are still a few places on this trip, due to people giving backword.

Is it very far to Elmali?  Sounds an interesting trip, something to please most people.

The trrip in leaving Kalkan at 09.00am on Friday 5th July.
The distance to Elmali is approx 100kms and then a further 25kms to Aricanda. So approx 250kms for the trip.

Did this trip become a regular event? Looking for somewhere new to visit so this ticks a few boxes.

Spunds a good trip & something not easily organised yourself, worth a try, be interested if it is a regular thing?
on a similar theme, the boys at Kaya restaurant started a trip this year out to their family farm for a barbecue etc, stopped at Berzigan on way out & had a great afternoon at their family house.  Lovely food, bit of air gun shooting  (if you fancied) & magic thrown in..,really different but lovely day out if you haven't seen any surrounding countryside etc. we tried it in early May & they were thinking f maybe twice a week depending on numbers...they were going to put a small leaflet together about it.  Just another possibility.

The trip is well worth it. If you want to go, pop into Volume Travel and ask if the trip is running whilst you are in Kalkan.
The Kaya are still going to their farm for the BBQ and seems a very popular day out.
