If you have never been it is certainly worth a visit, lovely atmosphere, very relaxed.

Hi Nicky will be interesting to see how you compare Calis with Kalkan.  Hopefully you'll do a report for us.

We stayed in Gocek for a 2 week holiday a few years ago, lovely place but we quickly got bored. Its a nice place to visit but dont think it has enough to keep you occupied for more than a couple of days. Good for a short break, maybe not for a full holiday stay.

It used to quite a nice picturesque village then they built a very modern square right in the centre and killed any charm it ever had.
You can probably see it all and have lunch in half a day - unless you have a really large boat in the marina

We don't have a big boat in the marina so we are just planning on having lunch somewhere and heading back to Calis!!

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Gocek for a spot of lunch? Thanks, Nicky.
