Where to change sterling

Hi i am new to the Kalkan experience,but not to Turkey.We usually go to Icmeler but we are trying Kalkan in September.
In Icmeler i usually change our cash at the various mini markets around town,over the years knowing which ones usually give best rates,or even some of the bars give a better rate.
I never go to the banks or the exchange shops.
WHAT is the best choice in Kalkan for cash sterling exchange,is it at a certain BEST mini market or other outlet?
Your advice would be appreciated

its pretty much the same across the village...we usually go to the PTT, but there's a kiosk right in front of it that matches the exchange rate, with no commission. We'll be exchanging there tomorrow

Hi,
There's not much in it, between the shops on the main strip. Usually, we change at the DVD shop opposite the taxi rank. The rate is displayed outside.

Like Kalkan4eva we use the little kiosk in front of the ptt.

Like you we always used to go to Icmeler but became Kalkan converts 6 years ago. We've found it much easier to change money in Kalkan and certainly the choices of where to exchange increases each time we visit. Top rates offered in June seem to be at the kiosk in front of PTT although several times they had run out of money. Also try the stall next to this that sells cushions etc. Be aware that if you exchange at the PTT itself you will be charged commission so I always ask the question "how many lira will I get for £100".
