Yusuf hair salon re-opens
« on: January 28, 2012, 04:02:58 PM »
For all those residents I've been speaking to lately who've been asking where the Wella Salon in Kalkan has moved to,  Yusuf has just opened a brand new hair salon in Kalkan.

I've been going to Yusuf for 12 years and could not live without my regular 'fix' so was devastated when he closed the old salon near the Merkez but he is now back, in a very modern, luxurios salon just between the new Oz Adana Restaurant and old Adda supermarket.  Massage chair, foot spa for pedicures, beauty treatment room - the works

As an opening offer he is giving a free manicure to anyone who goes to him for colour.  Just mention Enjoy Kalkan.

Other than being a very satisfied customer, I have no connection with Yusuf or the salon  -  so hope this will not be construed as advertising

I have just spent a day being completely pampered at Yusuf's and can highly recommend him.

I had a colour with highlights, a manicure and a pedicure for less than half the price it costs me in the UK and I am so pleased with the results. Usually, when visiting a hairdresser for the first time, I come out looking for a paper bag to cover my head till I get home. Not this time! I love it! The colour and cut is perfect. The nails look good too.

All I need now is a night out to show it off!

I also am so very glad that Yusuf is back in Kalkan. The same as Lantana, I have also been going to Yusuf at Wella Coiffeur for some years. The new salon is great with all mod cons, special chair for hair wash, private room for beauty treatments, a wonderful chair for pedicures where you get a fantastic back massage at the same time. For anybody who has never been to Yusuf, he really takes his time with your hair, unlike most English hairdressers now who get you in and out as quickly as possible to get more customers in for more money. And like Bee, I don't have to come out and titivate afterwards.
I wish Yusuf and Ozlem lots of success with their new shop, and yes they are offering a free manicure with every hair colour for one week only commencing Monday 30 January. I also am not connected to them, just a very happy customer.
For your information their telephone number is 0541 857 4563 or 0535 451 3003

I went to Yusuf's a few year's ago. I was charged £70 for colour and cut and dry. I have never been back. I did challenge the price.............70 TL or £70, but he insisted it was £70

Hi Hannah.

I paid that amount, £70. Back in the UK I pay anything between £80 and £125 depending on whether I am having it cut so compared to what I had done, it would have been the higher figure, that's without the manicure and pedicure.

All you guys out there take note. It's an expensive business looking like we do!

Now where's that husband of mine, I need some more money
