Post - Has anyone seen any lately ??

Since Christmas there seems to have been a lack of post from the UK even if you have a post box at the PTT

Is anyone else having this problem ??

Strangely enough I have had quite a lot lately.I dont have a box but go in regularly and they just proudly hand it to me! They seem to have a pile of letters for ex-pats, as I mentioned in my previous post about post!

Strange in the UK that the postman can get a "You were out" card through your letter box and be off down your drive like Linford lunchbox Christie without disturbing you, forcing you into a visit to sorting offices...but he can always get your attention at Christmas?

Thanks Blue Lizard - your post made me smile on a very,very wet and chilly evening in Kalkan! I had a business meeting with Linford Christie once and all my colleagues had wound me up so much about his famous "lunch box" I had to keep my eyes firmly on his face (with great difficulty!!)
