How late are bars open out of season? Esp April & May & Age of kalkan visitors

Hi everyone,

thanks so much for answering all my other questions, I have one more!

How late will the bars/restuarants be open at this time of year? And will they all be open?

And if you don't mind me asking what do you think is the average age of Kalkan visitors?

We are a mixed group of couples / friends in our mid twenties

I think you'll find the visitors to Kalkan very mixed in terms of age. The Bars do stay open late but there are regulations about loud music they have to adhere to. We've been in May before and it can be a bit cool of an evening so indoor bars - or bars with an indoor area will be busier. Some places may still be closed due to refurb or new ownership but generally everywhere will be open by May.
We took our adult children last August and they had a ball (they are in their early twenties and one late teens) and to be honest they preferred to be with us in Moonlight as opposed to the "younger" bars.......perhaps because we were buying the drinks
I'm sure you'll have a great time so long as you don't come to Kalkan expecting San Antonio or Aya Napa

thanks very much for your comments. We're actually looking for some liveliness without the 18-30s type of crowd so seems to suit!
