Does anyone know of a good english speaking electrician in Kalkan? We need some additional sockets and lighting put in and looking for someone who'll do a good job and is reasonably priced. I'm also looking for somewhere where i can hire a ladder for a few days to paint my property. The DIY shops don't seem to offer this service.

If you buy lights from one of the lighting shops they will fit them for you as part of the service. They might also do your sockets for a small fee.
Re ladders, the price of them in the DIY shops is so little that they would be cheaper than what you would expect a rental fee to be - the price is very much a disposable one. The quality isn't great for the most part but they're fine for a couple of quick jobs. Then if necessary for storage reasons, you can always give them to someone else.
