OK, I consider myself properly ticked off for suggesting the name of the villa should be posted on the forum.    You are right, Kalamar Dream and Legionaire.   This may not be the right place for naming and shaming.     

In fact, apart from the sunlounger incident, the villa may well be a wonderful place to stay.

As a villa owner myself we also had a guest report a sun-bed that broke when they sat on it at the start of the season. We didn't take any deposit off the renter as we treat sun-beds like any other item in the villa that will degrade over time and should be replaced at our cost. If there was evidence of mistreatment then this might be different but in this case it sounds like age or a faulty bed.

The replacement price for a solid Turkish sun-bed is 150TL.

I would definitely want to know how old the sun-bed is and wouldn't pay if I was in your position. It sounds like the owner is trying it on to me and in your situation I would keep my head down till I got back to the UK.
