Hello from an excited soon to visit Kalkan family

Hello Everyone,

We are a family of 5 coming to Kalkan on the 15th for the very first time. We will be staying in Villa Elif through Thomas Cook. I have only seen 2 reviews of the accommodation and both are total opposite of each other.

We are bringing the folks with us, so the ages range from 7 to 57!!!! To say we are excited would be an understatement!

I promise to write a report after our visit, I really hope it doesn't disappoint!

Hello to The Warners.  I looked up some references to Villa Elif.    It does seem to be a little up the hill and you may be looking at hiring a car or using taxis.   The compensation will be the glorious views which would appear to be uninterrupted.  Also if you mean 15th August it will still be hot and therefore you should be able to catch more breezes up the hill.

Having read something about the restaurants on this forum I expect you will be wanting to try out a few.   I am sure you will find ones to please all the family.

Thanks for you quick reply! We have also tried to find where the Villa might be located using google maps and the information given by our tour rep. I think I have located it and like you say, taxis will probably be a must.

I will be trawling this forum for ideas and expertise.

Welcome the Warners
We visited for 1st time last year and OH BOY we fell in love with the place sooooo much as I am sure you all will because it seems to happen to almost everyone that goes. The local people the weather the beach the friendliness the FOOD the lifestyle I could go on and on. We will have spent 5 weeks there this year and still it's not enough. I am sure you will enjoy no matter where your villa is. Look forward to reading your report after your holiday - Have a great time

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.  It's impossible not in Kalkan.  (Until you come home and the post-Kalkan blues set in...)
