Restaurant Reviews - an idea

As I'm now on countdown I'm very interested in the food & drink reviews. It would be a bit easier to keep track of comments if there was a dedicated thread for each restaurant & bar where new reviews could be added.
Just a thought but would this be feasible?

peter, KTLN has a star rating system for each restaurant, bar and cafe. They are listed in alphabetical order so its quite easy to follow.

Some of the star ratings seemed a bit odd (e.g. Adam's 1 out of 5) and then I accidentally gave Alfresco 1 out of 5 by clicking on the star rating, thinking that would let me see any comments made by the reviewer.

I dont mind creating a new sub section called restaurant reviews where people can write reports in there. The only thing is people would have to stay on topic for it to add any value!

What do you all think.........

I agree with KD. Its easy enough to find restaurant reviews with the search facility and any that aren't mentioned you can use the star rating on KTLN. I think staying on topic is the issue with a dedicated section...

to search, you need to know what you're looking for! If there was a dedicated section it would be easier to browse. I take the point about keeping on topic though and there's always KTLN & trip advisor. Just thought it would be convenient to have it all in one place.
I'll be finding out first hand in 33 days.........................

You know - sometimes it's the best idea to just wander around and see what tempts you  . . . one man's perfect dining experience is another's surefire way to indigestion. It's good to share reviews and experiences but don't get too hung up on going where everyone else thinks is great and ignoring the rest. You can miss out on some real crackers that way.
