Just been looking back over things we love about Kalkan but at the same time writing a list of all the lovely restaurants we should try this time and those we already know and simply have to go back to at least once. My initial list is now up to 25 restaurants and we only have 12 days. We also want to fit in a few quiet lunches/evening meals at home, maybe have a BBQ, maybe buy a ready cooked chicken fresh, hot and delicious. Add some fresh bread and salad (no one has mentioned the wonderful tomatoes in Kalkan, seem better than anywhere else), some chilled wine or Efes - bliss.
How to fit in all the restaurants we want to visit on this trip? Luckily back in September.
Are others who are now looking forward to their first visit to Kalkan or returning having the same problem as me? Should I draw straws?
So many things we love about Kalkan but with so many good restaurants it is certainly a problem to choose.
