Sleeps/weeks

This is the time of year many of us are counting the weeks until we go to Kalkan.    Then it is "how many sleeps to go".   At what point do you all start counting sleeps rather than weeks?
I think I do it when there about four or five days to go.

And is it only women who do this or do men count sleeps too?   

And for many of us we start counting the months until we return to Kalkan as soon as we get home!

Me too counting sleeps (and a woman) and just 5 sleeps to go!! Can't wait. Please God let there be water lol!!

five months.....but I'm still excited, thought we weren't going back this year, but I twisted 'his' arm!

Usually start counting sleeps when we've a couple of weeks to go. And when it gets closer i can't sleep because i'm so excited!! Really can't wait to get back out there next month, we already have our boat trips booked with Captain Osman!!

This 'sleeps' business is a pet peeve of mine.  If you nod off on a Sunday after lunch, do you have to re-calculate?

Not if you put your PJs on and didn't get up till monday......your sleep tally would still be on target

Thanks for that help blue lizard, I will remember always to put on my PJs if I have a Sunday afternoon nap so I don't throw my tally of sleeps.   

Having said I normally only count up my sleeps when a few days away from the holiday I decided to do a quick count now.    Discovered only 28 sleeps to go until going to Kalkan in June.    It somehow made it seem much closer than saying "next month".

Anyone willing to admit the longest count of sleeps to go they have added up?   Anyone got back home and thought only 365 to go?      Could be interesting to see who has the biggest record if they remember.
