Hi Heatg
We've stayed there but never walked to town. I'd reckon on 20-30 mins depending on heat/fitness. Shouldn't be too hot in April. There may be a new footpath for the 2011 season depending on progress with the road works. If there isn't, i'd think twice about walking at night
There's a good water taxi service that's free for residents/guests.

The water taxi won't be in use during April. They can walk in, it takes about 20 mins. I'm not sure how the road is progressing at the moment but it is fine to walk in during the day but like peter says its a bit dangerous at nightime when its a dark. A taxi costs approx 11 ytl one way.

As BL says the Belediye are working on a new path from the town beach to Komurluk and then onto to Patara, according to KTLN. In addition, there's the new service road to Kisla, which means you don't have to walk on the D400 - however I'm not sure if either will be completed by April.

Looks like it will be fab when it's done and will cut out the time it takes to walk in.It will be great to be able to walk straight to the beach from PPR and stagger back at night time !
